Tongue Twisters（英語の早口言葉）

火・木曜日に開講される教会でのESLクラス。
２時間だけのクラスですが、こちらはPima community collegeとは違って10人ほどの少人数クラスです。

木曜日にTongue Twisters（英語の早口言葉）のプリントを頂きました。

- I have got a date at a quarter to eight; I'll see you at the gate, so don't be late.

- How many cookies could a good cook cook, if a good cook could cook cookies? A good cook could cook as many cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies.
- She sells seashells on the seashore. The shells she sells are seashells, I'm sure.
- How now brown cow.
- Red leather, yellow leather, red leather, yellow leather.
- A rabbit ran around a rock, around a rock a rabbit ran.
- A big bug bit a bold bald bear and the bold bald bear bled blood badly.
- I saw Susie sitting in a shoe shine shop.
- Green glass globes glow greenly.
- Four furious friends fought for the phone.
- Give papa a cup of proper coffee in a copper coffee cup.

どれも何とか読み上げるのは簡単なのですが、それが英語のネイティブスピーカーに伝わるか？というと、自信のないものも出てきます。
RやL、THの発音は特に日本人は意識しないと、発音できていないようです。

身近に正しい発音を聞き取ってくれる人が居れば良いのですが、なかなか、ね。
沢山授業中に発言して、練習あるのみ、ですね。
